Stonington Vineyards hosts 13th Annual Summer Wine and Food Festival

Stonington Vineyards is hosting their 13th Annual Summer Wine and Food Festival on Saturday, July 17th and Sunday, July 18th from 11 am - 5 pm. Rain or Shine. Tour the wine cellar both days at 12, 1 & 3 pm. Tours are conducted to explain each step in the wine making process making it a TRUE wine experience

This wine and food festival is held outside, under a tent, in the field facing the Chardonnay vineyards. There is no admission charge. There is wine tasting, free educational tours of the winery and sampling of foods from several New England vendors.

The wine tasting, offered continuously throughout the day, includes the entire line of six wines; Estate Chardonnay, Sheer Chardonnay, Vidal Blanc, Seaport White, Triad Rose, and Cabernet Franc. Under the tent, samplings and sales of New England products will include jams, mustards, chutneys, herbs, spices, olive oil, fresh-farm organic produce and locally produced cheese as well as many other goodies.

Lunch is available for purchase from numerous nearby caterers and restaurants for your picknicking needs. Wine will be sold by the glass or the bottle (chilled) to accompany your lunch! Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, however, tables and chairs are available under the tent. Live music will include: Saturday, July 18th features Dan Stevens, Susan Connelly - with African drumming and dance, The Kevin Crandall Band, and belly-dancer Sirena Sultana. Sunday, July 19th features Dan Stevens, Susan Connelly - with African drumming and dance, Hi-Times, and belly-dancer Sirena Sultana.
